On September 29th, we remember and commemorate those we've lost. National Police Remembrance Day is held in Melbourne and key regional centres across the state. We encourage all Victorians to attend if they can.

The following members sacrificed their lives in providing a safe and secure community, their duty-related deaths are hereby commemorated in the Victoria Police Memorial (Kings Domain, St Kilda Road) and serve as a reminder that policing is never without its risks.

Enduring care and support for families left behind

Our charity partner, Victoria Police Legacy, provide a range of services and support to police families throughout Victoria who have suffered the loss of a loved or are experiencing grief and hardship caused by imminent or actual death or permanent (prolonged) disability.
